A team of former traders at Bank of America Merrill Lynch has joined the Chicago-headquartered high frequency trading firm Jump Trading

A team of former traders at Bank of America Merrill Lynch has joined the Chicago-headquartered high frequency trading firm Jump Trading.

Tim Cave from Financial News reports that Antoine Micallef, Steven Busuttil, Christopher Smith and Sebastian Quecke joined Jump Trading’s London office this month, according to two sources familiar with the situation.

They were all part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s European quantitative statistical arbitrage trading group, a proprietary trading team that employs high-frequency techniques, one of the sources said.
